ssshhh...

what husband doesn't know won't hurt the marriage. just kidding, i have the best husband in the world who understands how scrapping (and scrapbook shopping) keeps me sane. although aside from the goodies on the way that i previously ordered, i should be done shopping until the 3rd quarter of the year. the last few months and especially the last weekend and week has been extremely streesful for me. i can't wait for the week to be over so i can start playing with these goodies. warning, exteremely picture-heavy post. looking at the pictures makes me happy and keeps me sane.
eta: it's past 6, weekend has officially begun. scrap goodies come to mommy. i just have to catch up on sleep and eat something first. looking forward to a scrap-filled weekend:)
my second order of the year from two peas - lots of cosmo cricket goodies from the early bird collection and girl friday, some k&co que sera sera papers, an ac thicker and an oa stamp.

my first twopeas order for this year - lots of ac papers and a couple of flair buttons from craft fair and backyard collections, a thicker, some letter stickers, maya road stamps, clears and chipboard, a hero arts stamp and two spools of ac ribbons they threw in for free (i think!).

a friend was in singapore for a business trip a few weeks ago so i asked her to pick up some stuff for me over at made with love. she cleaned up the store and got all of the oa papers and some wild cards from the cherry hill and ducks in a row collection, stickers from previous releases + collage press sweet shoppe collection.
and now for my ebay purchases. first off, the websters pages papers from the sweet life and magical wishes collection and some vellum journaling cards

a couple of glimmer screens and stamps from my tattered angels. i still have the flights of fancy stencils on the way.

then there are the imaginisce stamps from the all kinds of happy, summer cool and fairest of them all collections.

then there are some chatterbox together die cuts, crafty secrets and prima stamps.

then two more glimmer mists and inkadinkado stamps.

and for goodies from my lss, these are my purchases from visual creations. the first one contains prima mommy and me pp's, a lone wrmk pp, prima artistry flowers, prima stamps, nick bantock ink pad and imaginesce stamps. the second set includes tim holtz urban tapestry stamp and luminarte's twinkling h20's.
i also passed by memory lane and got some webster's pp's and k&co cut and paste and madeline die cuts.

i didn't join the crop but i passed by to get some stuff from rekindled moments - bella blvd pp's, uhu glue, my first tim holtz stamp(loving it!), wrmk stamps and elle's studio tags.

all aas goodies - rub-ons, foam letters, fabric butterflies and flowers, gonchos and brads.

not really scrap goodies as i got these from a local clothing store but even hubby commented that i can use them on my scrapbook layouts. then when i need to borrow them for my clothes, i just remove them from the page.

when i heard a new daiso opened in galleria and i saw all the treasures people found, i promptly made my way there as well. i got the metal decorations and plan to use them as masks, A set of embroidery floss, a cute fabric for my sewing projects and these adorable cake toppers.

assorted goodies from the last time i was in japan - table napkins (aren't they pretty?), zig markers, cardstocks, stickers, cards in various sizes of varied themes and a couple of stationery.

felt and ribbon from the 100 yen store near our hotel in japan. i am planning to take on some sewing projects.

a rak from joy madison, the studio calico paris add-on kit.

this rak is from rusty pickle when i joined a giveaway in scrapscene, lots of christmas papers, stickers and diecuts.

a rak from my tattered angels for joining one of their monthly challenges, this is the english garden set i think.

the first stamp set i got from absolument stamp as a guest designer for them last january. a second set is coming. :)

a rak from jacilyn, lots of trims.

a rak from charity, two christmas rubber stamps.

a rak from artz de scrap, a couple of diecuts, papers, coasters, fibers and wooden mini-clothespin.

this is a rak from lia, a hanger waiting to be altered, a sticker, two cases of beads, some trims, brads and buttons plus some handmade tags made from scraps.

this is a rak from marix to spot the difference in the picture...a couple of prima journaling cards and the maya road chipboard birds.

raks from sister of scrap, the first one is for when i was their sister for a week, the second one is for their second year anniversary online crop. a couple of trims, flowers, papers, chipboard shapes (yes the birds again!), a stamp and an album.

rak from lisa...8x8 bg offbeat papers + hero arts stamps

a rak from christine for the cuttlebug challenge spa weekend, a swiss dots embossing folder.

my prize when i joined the aas contest in glorietta, lots of aas goodies.

countdowns and christmas

aack!4 more days before the wedding. can't wait to wrap-up work and complete all the wedding preps so i can finally fly to boracay for some rest and relaxation. can't even begin to imagine how crazy the preps will be next week. anyway, here are some things that brought a huge smile on our faces despite the global financial economic crisis.

well, this isn't actually mine but boipren (i think i'll have to adjust to calling him husband soon....yihee!) got this and wants us to both enjoy this. i am actually content with playing super mario or any of the free six games but he wants the more sophisticated and challenging ones. we actually went in the store at least thrice before we finally made the purchase. now, his next project is a flat-screen because he says my tv's resolution is not good enough. poor tv, it's one of the first purchase i made when i started working and has been with me for almost 6 years. we'll see. after this month, wedding stuff is the priority. e.t.a. on his way over, he calls and asks for the size of the detachable compartment for my scrapbook rack because he knew i needed a new one and he was in handyman. oh what a sweet guy. then later he calls and asks what i want for lunch. aww. i am blessed with such a great guy, i don't know what i did to deserve him. :)

one of boipren's christmas gifts for me. i insist it's for both of us but he says i'll probably end up using it more to print my pictures. i secretly suspect he is right. i think we actually got a good deal at 2000 bucks for a printer, scanner and copier in one machine. i really think all these stuff will force us to sleep and eat standing up.
asked a friend who was in singapore to pick up some stuff from made with love.

rekindled moments anniversary sale, got the scenic route cardstock at 50% off and the rest at 20-30% off.

i've been eyeing these prima pop-ups for a long time but couldn't find them here, was so happy to get them over ebay.

my raffle prizes, easter egg hunt prizes and white elephant gift during the ps-se christmas party. had so much fun.

an officemate who was in the us was well aware of my scrapbook obsession and picked up some of these chipboards during the thanksgiving sale.

megamall had one of their storewide sales and simple joys were offering these for 3 for 100.

was able to drop by the scrapbukan sale in enterprise and picked up some goodies for myself and as gifts for friends to entice them to get into scrapbooking. good deal i think at buy 3 take 2, they're still having another sale in the rockwell urban bazaar today. must not go there.

got these from twopeas and my friend was kind of enough to have them shipped to me. mostly k&co papers. al urban junque, some oa albums on sales and prima.

finally after months of waiting, my sc september kit arrived. was so excited to see the stamps.

scarlet was kind enough to slip this in because of the delay in shipping. isn't it nice of them?

a very generous rak from marix for being the first to submit during the kaya challenge she hosted. i'm loving everything especially the prima flowers. such a flower girl. :)

what? the weekend is over?

had a funny incident with my ring last wednesday, you can read all about it in the other blog. i managed to finish a card for kaya made from scraps of the lo i did. i made it for boipren, i just have to write a note inside. i initially planned to make an atc when i remembered seeing alby use it for a card so i decided to use it for my card as well. i like making atc's, they're like miniature art pieces.

i also finished my lo for
ria's birthday challenge. and no, i am not pregnant, and if our plans go as intended, i won't be in the next 4-5 years. don't get me wrong, i think motherhood is wonderful and i really look forward to joining the club. but i still have lots of growing up and outgrowing to do before i can be ready for a kid. truth be told, i am a kid myself!

materials used: patterned paper: prima, sassafras lass, daisy d’s & basic grey; stamps: hero arts & making memories; ink: versamark; diecut: my mind’s eye; journaling card: prima; puncher: stampin up; letter stickers: scrapworks & american crafts.
journaling: when people find out i’m getting married, one of their first questions is how i’d look if i get pregnant. i tell them i don’t know. i’m not even sure how many kids i want. all i know is that before i turn 40, i want to be a mom – and still be me. inasmuch as motherhood will shape me, i hope that I can put my own twist on being a mom.

remember my self-imposed scrapbook shopping moratorium? this is a conversation we had last wednesday. just a disclaimer and a clarification, as he is the finance whiz, i have asked boipren to help me manage my finances better for the wedding out of my own volition. so he has been helping me cut down on my scrapbook shopping.

me: pwede ba ako mag-order ng scrapbook stuff sa us, padala ko kay mabel, free shipping naman e.
boipren: 1000.
me: 2500?
boipren: 2000.
me: 2250?
boipren: 2100.
me: 2500 na please.
boipren: 2400.
me: 2500 na please. isang kiss na lang para +100.
boipren: sige na nga.

so now i have a box of alphabet stickers and pixie stix on the way. and did i mention he also brought me to memory lane yesterday to buy mm paints? i have the best boipren in the world! i don't know why but i suddenly became obsessed with them. so much for my resolve to save more.
and in case you're interested in winning some webster's pages goodies, drop by here.
anyway, have a great weekend everyone. i'll try to finish more lo's. :)
