how could anyone resist these stamps? i want to get my hands on them so badly and i've been itching to get some scrapping done so it all works out for me. stressful week so far and i am looking forward to the weekend. take care everyone.

...i did say i finished one more lo i needed to take a picture of. did i mention that i used mostly scraps for this except for the bas cardstock? and that i finished this in less than 3 hours? hoping the mojo doesn't run out. off to work for me.

mojo overload

so my mojo has taken a leave for a month and has decided to return (and return with a vengeance it did) last week. i managed to complete 3 los (that is a record for me) and a card last week. the first lo was from the class i attended taught by no less than iris uy. come to think of it, maybe the mojo jumpstart was from attending her class? if that is true, i am happy i was able to sign up for 3 more of her classes from may-july.
i have to take a picture of the last lo i finished in less than 3 hours - probably the fastest i scrapped outside a competition. and did i mention i used scraps for this, except for the base cardstock? anyway, i am off to try to complete more cards and probably an lo. who knows, i might get lucky right? have a great week ahead everyone.

finally an lo

i started 2010 with my mojo all fired up - i was even able to finish one lo every week. thanks mostly to my dt stint at scrapbook challenges. and then february happened - 14-hour workdays, making invites for a friends' recital (pictures to follow) and a commissioned work for 120 flowers for a wedding(yes, pictures to follow too). anyway, it's the middle of the march and i have no more excuse for not creating anything.

this is an entry for the ff. contests: prima's march bap, scrap inspire create's march sing me a song challenge and {create} make it happen's march banner challenge. anyway, i hope to create an lo or two this week. gotta meet the target i set for myself. have a great week ahead everyone.

january recap

for january, i was able to finish 7 lo's. not bad i think. my goal is to be able to complete 100 layouts for this year, 2 albums and 10 altered projects. hope i can make it. anyway, i am on 13-hour workdays for the next 3 weeks. i do hope i don't get sick. anyway, sharing an lo i made for sketchy thursdays 1.28 challenge. played around with mists again and a combo i rarely (maybe never) play with - black, white and purple. hope you like it. have a great week ahead everyone.

it's been great

being the gdt for january over at scrapbook challenges. i'm really grateful for this opportunity from pamela. having a deadline and a sketch did wonders for my mojo and my scrapping speed. i can actually complete layouts in less than a day. not to mention, i've almost gone through my first pile of prenup photos. anyway, i am sharing the rest of the layouts i did for sketches 181-183. til the next time. :)

after the storm

the winds were unbelievably strong in early mornings yesterday. you can practically hear the winds lashing against the building and i was afraid it would take off the roof. the next day, the lights were out for a while so i had time to work on my lo. this is for sketch 43 for 52 sketches 52 weeks and method playground. wishing everyone a peaceful and stress-free weekend. :)
